Meeting FIBA Referee Department Europe - TV Media

Dear Referees,

We would like to inform you; we held a meeting inside our Pre-Season preparation with the FIBA TV Commentators.

It was a really useful and productive meeting with the clear desire on both sides for the TV Commentators to clarify better, the OBR changes and application on the court, and how our officiating techniques, on how to process the play and use different kinds of whistles according to the AOR and playing situations.

We tried to clarify the PW, CW, QW, and IW according to the referee's responsibilities and type of the play.

As an outcome, we have comments on the Super Cup Women's game 2024/25.

Be aware that we continue, as FE RD, to support officiating and promote it inside the basketball community as much as possible for the benefit of our great game.
