Dear All.
The L16 round started as we expected.
Great games, tied results, emotions, and lots of spectators creating great atmospheres for the games. Your performances gave big support to the great level of these games. The pressure is increasing, each point counts, and each call is important for each team in the BCL competition. Experience from the previous seasons shows that in the end, the L16 round differences between teams in a group will be very small. Knowing this, all nominated Referees should give their best each game, quarter, minute, second, and play situation. Simply, we need high-quality delivery. Don't be scared to make tough calls, it's your job and this may also mean mistakes, we know this cannot be avoided. So my final message for this week, use your officiating experience, the education and training we have provided and you have received, use the protocols we follow, have self-belief and trust your colleagues. Individually be your best and together be your strongest.
I wish you a great week of officiating in all games.
