WEEKLY REPORT - 10

Dear officials and BCL Team.
Wishing you and yours a safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our BCL Referees and BCL Video Observers for your efforts and contributions during the BCL Regular Season 2022/2023.
As usual, our seasonal break is very short, some of you have already had games in your local competitions. We are in front of the next, higher, and more exciting level of the BCL competition. Our principle of 'each and every' point counts, has even more meaning and importance during this part of the season. During the next fifteen days, sixteen Teams will fight to extend their stay in the BCL Competition. For each of these Teams, being the best out a of possible three Play-Ins games series, means extending their playing time in the BCL competition to a minimum of six further games, until March 22nd.
The importance of the next fifteen days cannot be stressed enough when it comes to OUR officiating. The big responsibility we have, to provide the highest possible performances every game, quarter, minute, second, or play situation. As BCL Referee's it is important to be ready from the first until the last second. Our experience from previous years reminds us of highly motivated players and coaches. We remember the huge pressure from the spectators, games, time, and results.
From my side, I feel a big trust in our entire Team. After a very challenging 2022, I am confident we are all ready to give our personal best. With your best possible officiating service, you will improve the level of BCL.
Whilst I want 100% of your concentration on the forthcoming BCL games, as Elite FIBA Referees you will be aware of the upcoming World Cup. The BCL competition and World Cup qualification round games are the perfect platform to show your competence, confidence, knowledge, and skills under pressure. Please ensure you plan and prepare for each BCL game, working as a team on the floor to deliver great service to all participants. Good luck everyone.
